Stephen Styler is a founding partner of the law firm of Styler-Daniels, P.C. Mr. Styler is a graduate of the University of Utah and completed law school at the University of Wyoming College of Law.  Mr. Styler’s practice is focused primarily on water law, corporate governance, estate planning,  government relations, lobbying and business development.

Mr. Styler consults clients on complex transactional issues, estate strategy development, administrative proceedings, litigation, and public policy. Mr. Styler works extensively with individual water users, irrigation companies and large agricultural operations. He currently serves as chair of the Water Law Committee of the Energy, Natural Resources, & Environmental Law section of the Utah State Bar.  He also serves as co-chair of the Utah Governor’s Rural Partnership Board, a board member of the Governor’s Economic Council and as an ex-oficio member of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development Board (GOED).

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Styler actively manages and operates his family’s 425 acre farm in Delta, Utah with his wife Maddie and their six children.

Kevin Daniels is a founding partner of Styler Daniels.Prior to law school, Kevin worked as a strategy and management specialist in the gubernatorial administration of Jon Huntsman. During his tenure serving in the Huntsman administration, Utah was recognized with the Best Managed State in the Nation award. Kevin left the governor’s office in 2008 to attend law school at the University of Wyoming.During law school, Kevin published an article on sentencing issues in methamphetamine cases in the Wyoming Law Review. Kevin ultimately served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Wyoming Law Review and in that capacity oversaw the successful publication of two editions of the Wyoming Law Review. At graduation, Kevin was named a finalist for the most outstanding student award and was given the Excellence in Advocacy Award.Upon graduating in 2011, Kevin accepted an offer to serve as the judicial law clerk for the Sixth District Court for the State of Utah. While serving as a judicial law clerk, Kevin assisted in writing several judicial opinions—two of which were upheld by the Utah Court of Appeals and the Utah Supreme Court. After serving as a judicial law clerk for two years, Kevin accepted a position as the Deputy Sanpete County Attorney.In addition to his duties as the deputy county attorney, Kevin, as a partner with Styler Daniels,provides legal advice to Rockwell Time, Inc., Mayfield City, Charity Vision, and Centerfield City. Kevin is adept at providing assistance in litigation and all areas of corporate law.  In 2012, The Speaker of the Utah House of Representatives appointed Kevin to serve as a Commissioner on the Utah Athletic Commission. Kevin is currently in his second term as a Commissioner.

Jason is the newest member of the Styler Daniels team, he was recently admitted into the Utah State Bar.  Prior to joining the team, Jason attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. During law school, Jason Clerked for the Honorable Johanna S. Kishner, a District Court Judge in Las Vegas. Immediately after the Clerkship ended, Jason was hired on with the most prominent personal injury/workers compensation law firm in Las Vegas- Ed Bernstein and Associates. While at the prominent Nevada firm, Jason was involved in personal injury cases in all stages of litigation, as well as, workers compensation and social security disability. During Jason’s final year of law school, in addition to working at Ed Bernstein and Associates, he was selected as one of five law school students to become licensed to practice in Immigration Law for the Thomas and Mack Clinic, at UNLV. He argued in behalf of clients in front of Immigration Judges and District Court Judges in Las Vegas and Los Angeles throughout his last year of School. Jason has acquired both education and practical experience making his future law career bright. He plans on using this experience to practice in the following areas: Personal Injury- Workers Compensation- Immigration Law- Estate Planning- Real Property Transactions.
